Finnco Pty Ltd is a fresh and growing Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy company local to the Southern Highlands and Macarthur Regions, catering to all NSW. Our aim is to service the community with high quality engineering designs in a time efficient manner, while priding ourselves in our ability to create strong professional relationships with our clients through effective communication and robust engineering advice.

About The Role:

Finnco Pty Ltd requires a civil engineering graduate who intends to go down either a structural or drainage specialty

Reporting to the Director, the Graduate Civil Engineers responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Creating engineering designs
  • Understanding and adhering to LGA Development Control Plans and Other government body requirements
  • Competence using standard Office Software Packages
  • Experience using AutoCAD
  • Use in other Engineering Software Packages may be an advantage.
  • Have confidence in completing onsite Inspections

 

To Be Considered:

To be a successful candidate you must have:

  • A Bachelor of Civil Engineering or other relevant qualification
  • Eligibility for Membership of the Institute of Engineers, Australia
  • Current NSW General Construction Induction (white card), or willingness to obtain prior to commencement in the position
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent planning and problem-solving abilities
  • Open and effective communication skills
  • Time efficiency skills and an ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Confidence in completing onsite inspections
  • Drivers Licence and own transport
  • Motivation to succeed and further skills

 

An intention to specialise in structural or hydraulic design is a strong advantage

Applicants must already have the right to work and currently reside in Australia.
